Training cum one day workshop conducted for dissemination of schemes of state government via cultural troupes



 


Local art forms more effective in promotion of schemes - Collector Dr. Tamboli


 



Raipur. In order to generate publicity for the schemes of the state government via Cultural troupes, the training-cum-workshop was organized by the Public Relations Department in the auditorium of Agricultural College, Kumharwand, Jagdalpur. The event was inaugurated by Collector Dr. Ayyaz Tamboli. Soon after the training, public welfare schemes of the state government will be disseminated in the local dialect in the Haat Bazaar and Madai Melas of all the districts of Bastar division via the medium of a well trained team of


Cultural troupes.


          Collector Dr. Ayyaz Tamboli said while addressing the workshop that, the art groups are still an effective and proactive medium for dissemination of information. When local people say something in local dialect, it is easily understood by them. When they are aware of the schemes formulated for them, they will be able to take advantage of it. He said that many schemes are being run by the state government for the benefit of the general public. Publicity is necessary for the general public to be well aware about these schemes.


          On this occasion, Additional Director of Public Relations Directorate Shri J. L. Dariyo highlighted the objectives of the workshop. He informed that after the training, public welfare schemes of the state government will be disseminated in 276 Haat bazaars of all the districts of Bastar division in the local dialect of Halbi, Gondi, Bhatri and Chhattisgarhi. Apart from this, promotions will also be conducted in Madai Melas. The workshop was performed by art groups. The officials watched the entire presentation and gave suggestions regarding the minor deficiencies.


          At the end of the program, Joint Director Public Relations Shri D.S. Kusharam expressed his gratitude. On this occasion, Center Director in charge of All India Radio Center, Jagdalpur, Mr. Balveer Kutch, Out Reach Field Publicity Officer Mr. Khelan Singh Dewan, Public Relations Department officials and folk artists were present.
